We just added quite a few new names to our email list. Welcome to our new Tea Party Patriots email subscribers! We generally send 2 emails out a week unless there is a hot, important topic that requires additional information dissemination.
If you are new to the list and are a local coordinator, please be sure to add your local Tea Party, 912, or As a Mom group to our site. We have a search by zip code feature. This will enable people who are searching for events and groups near you to find your group and get plugged in.

Arizona Training
|
| Arizona Tea Party Patriots is working with American Majority for training. Tea Party Patriots nationally is partnering with both organizations for training for local coordinators at the following event. Your donations are helping pay for the local coordinators to attend this training event.
American Majority is hosting a Candidate and Activist Training (Separate Tracks) on Saturday, May 15 at the Embassy Suites Phoenix Airport located at 1515 North 44th Street in Phoenix. The training will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with registration beginning at 8:30 am. If you are in the area and able to attend this Saturday, please do! We’d love to see you!
There will be 2 training tracks.
Candidate Track
Regardless of campaign experience, American Majority’s Candidate Training Program makes running for office easier! American Majority Candidate Training Seminars are designed specifically to educate candidates on every level how to run effective and victorious campaigns and prepare them to become successful elected officials.
Activist Track
American Majority believes that it is time to move beyond protesting to implementing freedom and liberty. The American Majority Activist Training Program provides the tools and resources needed to move your grassroots efforts from protest to effective strategy. Our political training covers practical steps your organization can take to maximize its online efforts, ability to organize, and hold public officials accountable.

Tennessee Tea Party Coalition Inaugural Convention
|
| Not on the right side of the country for training on the west coast? Well, Tennessee has the answer for you the weekend of May 22 – 23 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center, 234 Historic Nature Trail, Gatlinburg, TN 37738. The cost is $30 per ticket in advance; $35 at the door and if you are 21 & under get in for free!
While this Convention is being hosted by the TN TP Coalition, if you are in a neighboring state, it will be a good training event for you and your family to attend.
In addition to the convention, Tea Party Patriots has partnered with the Leadership Institute who will be training local coordinators from around the country during the convention. The training will be recorded and will be made available online for Tea Party Patriots beginning in June. Again, your donations are helping pay for this training for local coordinators and to be rolled out via the web next month.

| The Dallas Tea Party, Arizona Tea Party Patriots, Tea Party Patriots, and many other organizations are supporting a buycott in Arizona and are hosting a rally on Saturday, May 29th, Memorial Day Weekend.

Arizona is under heavy fire from the left-wing bullies for trying to protect its own citizens from the ravages of illegal immigration. The entire state is being attacked as ‘racist,’ ‘nazi’ and ‘extremist.’ (Sound familiar?) The left-wing bullies believe they can target, isolate and neutralize Arizona, and thereby pressure the people of Arizona to stop enforcing the law.

Atlanta Tea Party Hosts Take Back America Event with Dick Morris June 5

Matt Perdie Across America

| Since June, many of you might have met or even walked with Matt Perdie as he has made a journey by foot across America carrying a flag and walking to bring attention to liberty. The Tea Party and 912 Movement inspired Matt. If you have met him, you know he is an incredible young man who cares passionately about our country.
Matt has been walking since last June and he is now in New Mexico. He will end his journey on July 4th at the Santa Monica Pier in California. The next few weeks of walking will be very challenging for him as he enters the desert. If your tea party group is in the area he is walking, consider joining him for a few hours or a couple of days for moral support.
From Matt’s website:
Mission: “To walk across the United States of America, while spreading awareness of the dangers of massive government spending to the American people, and show everyone who and what is really out there in the United States of America.”
Once Perdie became aware of the massive spending in Washington, he had a hard time focusing on his films. At one point, Perdie had even considered making a film based on a theme that could help to bring awareness to the manipulation brought about by Washington and the media. However, based on the urgency of the situation, Perdie decided to put his film on hold and go on this walk to expedite the awareness of the dangers of massive government spending, while also pushing for the need of personal and fiscal responsibility in the United States.
On his journey Perdie will study human life and interactions so that he can better achieve the level of understanding necessary to make truly insightful narrative films. Many of these observations made will be converted to episodes that will raise questions amounst the viewers about American life and it’s values. With this action, Perdie hopes that he can help to unite Americans by showing the country what is really out there instead of having Americans rely on the media for their opinions of each other. Perdie hopes to provoke Americans to inspire themselves to take positive and responsible action in their own lives.
Perdie will be equipped with a fold-up tent, and (when the opportunity presents itself) will stay with various trustworthy Americans willing to house him for a night. Perdie will also encourage Americans to travel with him, even if it is for a small portion of the journey, in order to help accelerate the awareness of the dangers of massive government spending and their assault on our freedoms.
